Details: I am looking for a few items that I feel I don`t yet own but would be helpful for future machining.
I`ve just purchased a pillar drill and realise that I could do with some clamping and holding fixtures. Swan neck clamps, small engineers clamps...other than a drill vice I`ve nothing for clamping work onto the bed directly. I`m sure they may also be used on the mill.
I think the title says it all for the rest really. I`d really like a set of parallels and also a reasonably priced Height Gauge.

Details: Specialist CNC machine makers CONECT based their 121 model on a brand new cabinet mounted Myford ML10, supplying them to colleges etc. Although this type of machine is capable of serious work, this one saw little (if any) use to date. Screw and slideway wear is either negligible or non-existent as a consequence. The paintwork (green hammer finish) is in very good condition. 3 Jaw SC and 4 jaw chucks come with it, along with both chuck keys. The Myford platform comes in handy when chucks and other parts need to be added, they are easy to find. The original stepper drivers have been replaced by more modern units and are run by the popular Mach 3 software.
The lathe comes with its own separate controller cabinet, housing all the drivers and break-out board. A new inverter is included to give variable spindle speed (through a spindle speed sensor) although I never got round to wiring that up. After that has been done, all you need to add is a cheap computer, a copy of Mach 3 and some electricity. Then you’ll be up and running with a CNC Lathe for little more than most manual machines get sold for. It is perfect for small repetitive work or freeing you up from the more mundane parts of turning.
This machine is now surplus to my requirements as I have a larger lathe. The price is firm at £1195, no offers, cash or debit cards only. I won’t swap it, ship it abroad nor fall for any tricks – Scammers can save their time. The machine is quite light for its size and easily loaded into an estate car or similar. It could be delivered (after pre-payment) within a maximum 80 mile radius of Worcester for return petrol costs.

This is very strongly and expensively built machine, made to demonstrate CNC milling to students. These machines were supplied to Colleges and Universities hence they saw little (if any) use. Ball screw and slideway wear in this machine is either negligible or non-existent as a consequence.
The machine is housed in a beautifully made transparent cabinet for safety and quiet operation. It has castors (with brakes) to make life easy when the machine is not in use. The there is an inbuilt vacumn dust extractor which can be turned on and off by G Code just like the spindle is. The entire frame is made from costly extruded Aluminium alloy section, making it extremely strong and rigid whilst being surprisingly light.
The earlier type stepper motor drivers (still with the machine, although no longer fitted) were removed and replaced with up to date items by CNC guru John Stevenson. These run through the latest type break-out board. The machine runs on well-known and preferred Mach 3 software. The router unit has been expertly replaced by a 'Kress' 1HP spindle running up to 20,000 RPM and beyond, this is again a preferred CNC choice. As an aside, Collets and replacement brushes for this spindle are easily available from Lester Caine (LS Electronics) of Evesham. One of the stepper motors (Z axis) has been replaced with a new item, and although this turned out to be unnecessary, it shows how motors can be replaced and re-wired in the future whilst leaving a spare original motor now.
The table (27.5" x 23.5" is tee-slotted, lending itself to easy fixture and work holding. The usable movement of the 3 axes are X 17.25" (437mm) Y 18.75" (476mm). Z is estimated to be 8-10" (200 - 250mm) The latter axis leaves plenty of scope for jigs or work holding. The cabinet stands 66" (1.680m) tall on its castors, 30" (760mm) deep and 50" (1.270m) wide. The machine runs very quietly when the door is shut and there are no dust or chip escape issues.
The Router comes with its own dedicated computer running windows XP. A trial version of Mach 3 and VCarve Pro are pre-loaded. A modern flat panel monitor is also included.
