G-SAVER Winch and Folding Tripod, with steel cable terminating in a karabiner.

On highest setting, the karabiner is about 51" / 1.3m above the floor.

SWL labelled 300lbs.

Needs a new shackle to suspend the winch from the head - I improvised for the photos I can supply.

May suit assembling machine-tools, large-scale model-engineering projects, vehicle restoration and the like. The winch could be used without the tripod, assuming suitable, safe suspension point and your own access. The full rig is NOT suitable for angular pulls.

Collect please: heavy, bulky but should fit a hatchback. Can arrange hand over at bona-fide address near Cheddar; will consider delivery for fuel share.

Price as seen & o.n.o. reflecting note below.

NB: History
Although originally intended for rescuing personnel from underground structures, it should NOT be used for lifting people without having it inspected properly for that first.

It's not been serviced for years time and I've not tested it properly, though it appears OK on visual inspection. It has been stored unused in dry conditions for a long time, but a label shows its last professional inspection was in 2000!
Price: £50.00
Collection Only
