[All Ads] For Sale: 5" Gauge Class 20 Locomotive

[All Ads] For Sale: 5" Gauge Class 20 Locomotive

5" Gauge Class 20 Diesel Outline Locomotive ready to run with batteries and 24V automatic charger.

Livery is inspired by 20118  "Saltburn-by-the-sea" which is in preservation (See http://www.sddt.co.uk/20118)

I've owned this engine for a number of years, it has always been a faultless performer at our clubs public running days.
A it's last outing it worked continously all day pulling Santa Specials.

It is very easy to drive and has great traction thanks to a (150W?) motor per axle and correctly adjusted springing.

It comes with a Parkside Electronics 24V Power unit and hand controller. Two Lucas 34Ah Sealed Traction batteries are supplied too.

There is a Trax DESS-12-24 Diesel Sound Effects module which gives engine/turbo  noise - this is a bit quiet so could to with adjusting or better loudspeaker?
It also has an electronic Two-Tone Siren as well as Very Loud Car horn.

Overall Length is 125cm approx
Overall Width is 24cm approx
Overall height is 36cm approx

This has been a working loco so has a few scuffs to the paintwork and several "Timken" bearing covers have been lost but overall its a cracking engine.

Lots of Hi-Res photos here :-

Contact me if you have any questions.
I will consider all sensible offers...
