Details:
This is a Rishton milling column and head from their bench milling machine but also as used on the Harrison M250 and M300 lathes.
I bought it many years ago in a clearout sale. It was new and unused but a spare that had been dragged around for several years, so that is why it looks a bit scuffed.
I have run it, powered from 400V three phase, and runs fine on all its speeds. The motor is dual voltage so if you have an inverter then should run ok, I have three phase so used that. Whilst it has run, it has never cut metal.
Geared headstock, 0.33hp, speeds 2000/1100/700 and 370/200/130 rpm. Spindle has 2mt fitting.
The head has a swivel fitting to the column with a screw thread rise and fall with clamp screws. Bottom of column, 3" diameter, just fits into either the mill base or the lathe support bracket, there is no bracket with the head.
Will need to be collected, heavy.
