Details: Maxitrak Planet 0-4-0 shunter. Bought from Station Road Steam as 'new' in May 2020 Not had a lot of use and the battery is still good, it runs for a few hours. Generally as Maxitrak intended except the motors have been rewired with more suitable wire with spiral wrap to protect them and the fragile horns have been replaced with much stronger ones. Happy to take more photos and answer more questions. Can be demonstrated running. I can deliver locally, 30 miles or so radius. Details: A box of 5 new unused SKF & Dormer Tools spiral point taps No 7 X 32 TPI BSCY. These are an unusual size for British Cycle taps and although the shanks are marked "SWG 7 X 32 BSCY" they are actually as labelled on the box 'No 7 X 32 BSCY". So their outer diameter is 0.201 inch (ie drill size 7) not 7/32 inch and not SWG 7 either. Totally agree it is very strange.

Details: Hi All, I have an X-Y table on my drill press. I think its from a larger machine (jig borer?) as it has no makers ID on it. I want to add dial guages to it & I am lashing something up but it would be nice to know how its really supposed to work. Any info greatly appreciated! Details: This is a Tiertime Cetus 3D MkI printer that I bought in 2018. It’s not been used a great deal – perhaps 20-30 hours or so in total. Worked pretty well, although it isn’t enclosed and doesn’t have a heated bed, so is limited to PLA or similar as it stands. It has USB and Wifi interfaces and by default uses the Tiertime slicer and printer control. I retrofitted home/limit switches, rather than use the default hard stop (crash into end stop) method. I also bought a Tinyfab CPU that replaces the original with an ESP32 running Marlin 2.0 – this worked fine and gave lots of control over settings etc, along with LCD display and allows full local control (both included). Even if you don’t want a 3D printer, this has 3 genuine Hiwin linear rails, 4 decent stepper motors, a PSU and a usable hotend. It’s in its original box with the instructions, spare nozzles etc. Carriage would be around £7 – 12, depending on the courier and delivery time.
