Details:
Quorn Mk 1 in full working order, and with many grinding wheels, tool holding attachments.
This machine has been well engineered and is driven by the `proper’ Parvalux 1/6th HP, 2800 rpm motor. I’ve owned it for some 25yrs, but nowadays don’t really use the machine to its full potential.
The sale includes an original copy of Prof Chaddock’s Operating Instructions, the Tee publishing 1984 book, and copies of the original Model Engineer construction articles from 1974.
There are:
Some 8 cutter-holding mandrels; 6 to hold round things, one with a set of 8 collets, and one to hold square lathe tools.
Over 20 grinding wheels of various shapes and sizes.
More than 12 wheel mounting abors.
2 diamond dresser tools, and 2 spare drive belts.
There are castings, not completed, for a tailstock, and the spiraling head/thread grinding assembly, related as I recall, to the numerous additional features that can be added.
I’m asking £275. It has to be collection only.
