Details:
Partially built 5” gauge LBSC Speedy, with the Don Young modifications. The frames are assembled with buffer beams, pump, and brake cylinder support stays. GM Horn blocks and solid axle boxes are all machined to take roller bearings (supplied). All six wheels are painted, the backs faced, and bored, leaving just the front and treads to finish.
There is a complete set of drawings, including the Don Young extra two sheets, and the design sheets for the Doug Hewson scale cylinders.
Included with the following castings and parts, there are two versions of the manual, and a large-scale general arrangement drawing. The happy winner will also be given the three volumes of the original 1950 Mechanics magazines. I also offer copies of the numerous computer files accumulated over the years. Castings and bits:
