For Sale: Myford ML10 with Rodney Mini Miller

Wed 10th Jul '19

Advert ID: 35856

The ML10 is a late 1970s model with roller bearing headstock and is in generally good condition. It has raising-blocks, a dog-clutch to the lead-screw, needle-roller bearings to the cross-slide to reduce play, shop-made tumble reverse, re-settable thimbles to both the cross-slide and the lead-screw (N.B., the cross-slide thimble is graduated 1 to 50, i.e 2 thou per grad, but clear enough to judge a thou), felt wipers to cross-slide and tailstock. The headstock drive-belt is brand new.
The motor is a single phase 1/3HP (a brand-new 2/3 HP motor is available as an alternative at extra cost); There is a fitted Dewhurst reversing switch. The lathe is mounted on original Myford tray on a welded steel stand with levelling feet.
Accessories include the Rodney Mini Miller with drive-dog , a 3 jaw Bernerd chuck, an RDG Tools quick-change toolpost (which will take 10mm/ 3/8" tools thanks to the reduced height top slide but, sorry, no tool-holders!), 2MT 1mm-13mm drill chuck, 2MT ER25 chuck with some collets (both these last can be used in the mill), 12 change-wheels, fixed steady, draw bar for both head- and tailstock, tailstock knock-out bar, some Whitworth and BA spanners, the essential cut-down allen key for engaging back gear, and other bits and pieces. Also a rear parting tool post (needs a blade!) and an 8 piece set of carbide tipped turning tools.

Lots more pictures and details at (copy and paste!)
Price: £1,000.00
