For Sale: Complete power train from electric wheelchair (needs work)

Fri 16th Aug '24

Advert ID: 43855

Materials (Consumable)
Project Build (Major parts may still need building
Details:
This is an advert for all the electrical parts from an electric wheel chair.
It includes:
Motor and drive units
Battery pack
Controller (not working)
Charger
The controller does not work, but everything else seems to. The Lithium battery holds charge and can be charged by the charger. The motor drive units both work when connected directly to the battery.
The wheel chair was offered to an elderly relative and when it didn't work I was asked to investigate. The main processor on the circuit board in the controller has a hole in it. It appears that the chair was a grey import and parts are not available in the UK so it has been scrapped.
It seems to me that these parts are looking for a suitable project.
