I know we have a very talented community here and i hope someone may be able to help.
I have what looks to be Involute cutters, they are in pairs, 76mm diameter, 40mm bores and 8mm wide.
Only markings or identifications on the cutters are as shown in pics.
The one in pic is PD7 which may not be of any significance as i have various sets marked PD1 up to PD17 but the cutters are all the same.
Last pic shows dimensions of the form.
Based on these dimensions would anyone know how to calculate the cutter number, DP, Module, Pressure angle, etc, and what exactly the involute cutter form this will produce, if anything at all.
These were purchased from GKN Automotive, Birmingham following their closure.
These may not even be a Standard Involute form but a "Special" only used by the company themselves.
I have 16 pairs of these available, so if some very clever soul out there can help, that would be very much appreciated.
