Use correct sentience formatting rules, a space after the colon: semi-colon; comma, full stop. and exclamation! characters. URL address will use words with dots between the words without spaces and if the system sees these it will treat them as URL links. NEW! logo after 10 years the tread board needed repainting, if any remember the old Green text logo might remember how the tread patten ended up becoming the background. The photos have also been upgraded to add logo's and date/time stamps to the images on upload so that the photos are noticeable for people linking to them.

Details: Been lucky to find an early GHA cutter grinder, mines complete but on closer inspection I see it doesn't have the cross adjusting slide that allows radii to be added. Anyone got one hiding under the bench. Also the cutter setting arm is missing. I am hoping to just swop the existing rotating base casting with a new one unless someone knows better... Thanks
Details: As described on the excellent https://lathes.co website, a lathe manufactured for the amateur from 1908 - 1942. Cost £5 and being one of the smallest machines in the Drummond catalogue it is well made and ample for most jobs that are can be fitted in (boring an Austin 7 engine!). The serial no starts with a zero so post WW1. As well as the unusual swivelling compound slide, the carriage can be rotated and locked about 45 deg either side of horizontal Has 3 jaw and 4 jaw chucks with blue-grey paint on the backplates so probably original, and there's a tailstock chuck. The Metropolitan-Vickers motor was fitted to a wooden bench belt driving a countershaft attached to the wall. Motors runs very smoothly and is fitted with a forward and reverse switch. There's a genuine faceplate and a special tee slotted angle plate. The is little wear in the spindle and slides. There's an interest and genuine looking mahogany change wheel box with internal partitions and a brass change gear chart on the outside – unfortunately there are no gears collection only from BS36 – 35kg easy lift, could be couriered at your cost

Details: This is a complete autoarc kit that you fit to your vehicle basically by changing the alternator and putting in the control box and wiring giving you a dc arc welding set and 110 to 240 volts dc out put to run some power tools or lights when you are out mobile. It can also be used as a booster battery charger. The power to drive this is your own vehicles engine running the alternator and you fit an extra manual throttle control for your vehicles engine so you can control the revs and therefore the units power where required. They were popular for a short time in the 1970s and were made in York. The welder is capable of welding with 10 gauge welding rods and the power supply 2 to 3kw 110v or 240v dc. These conversion kits are really only suitable to be fitted to simple pre ECU controlled vehicles so very limited to what they can be put on these days but any farmers with an old type landrover would find this very useful for on site welding a broken steel gate in a field perhaps or plant repair. This set was working and taken off the vehicle when the owner changed cars with the intension of fitting to the new one but it never happened. So was working when last fitted up on his vehicle. The plug to push in for the power supply is still in the original sealled bag. Its never been opened. The kit includes the welding cables and electrode holder. Can be sent by courier or collection from near Westerham Kent.

Details: This is an Edwards Treadle Guillotine, a sturdy machine in good clean condition with a cut capacity of 16swg. Overall sizes are Width 48" x Height 43" Depth 29" The blade is in good condition with two edges not touched or used. The photos show the machine in erected state. It has now been dismantled to move location for selling. All fixing bolts and screws are in the holes that they are to be attached to the corresponding part. Thickness not critical - anywhere between 0.5 and 1.0mm Size: 35mm wide 1260mm long My searching finds lots of suppliers who have up to 1m length - at around £12. But jump to 1260mm and the only quote I had was five times as much. Suggestions welcome
