Well we have more features,

  1. List is now working again, to use put [list] at the beginning of the first item and [/list] at the end of the last line, each new line will be an item.
    You can also put:
    1. [list 1] for numbers
    2. [list a] for letters
    3. [list i] for roman numbers
  2. For Sale and Wanted Adverts by traders that have paid for the service will be in trade green and be listed first for 3 days after which time the will follow the normal sorting order.
  3. Sorted the issue with hotmail, live and outlook blocking emails.
  4. Image size increased to 1920 x 1920 and max size of 10MB. They are plenty of free tools to resize to that size, so if you can't be bothered to resize one, we can't be bothered to list it.
    Use resizeimage.net or www.picresize.com to help, you can even use them from your phone.
  5. !IMPORTANT! Update to the rules, please read them, breaking rules can get you banned for a time.
  6. New: Scammers category added and in a nice gold colour, might swap if for the thank you and make them neon pink.
  7. Going to add some more types to the For Sale and Wanted, things like Machines, Tools, Rugs, Measuring and Computer. Yep going to allow computers to be sold as they are becoming a major part of the home workshop.

    Rules

    1. All adverts are checked by the administrators before being displayed.
    2. Only tools, materials, models, books and magazines related to workshop activities will be carried.
    3. All adverts will run for 28 days, you can renew it after 21 days so you can repost your advert again without having to retype it all. Please do not submit a new advert again just because it has gone to page 2, we will just delete it.
    4. Please group all your small sales together into one post, people submitting lots of small tool adverts may get blocked from the submit system, include them in one advert with new lines (return, enter) between items. Large items such as machines may be listed separately even if you have 3 or more to sell.
    5. Please try and use the [list] feature to list multiple items. Put [list] on the first line and [/list] at the end of the last item, each new line will become an item.
    6. All HTML code will be removed by the system. This means that all links in adverts will not be clickable.
    7. Traders please tick the Trader box, this will add the words trader to your advert and protect you.
    8. We will not show adverts to auctions on sites like EBay. Only exception you can place listings for buy it now only listings
    9. To report an advert please use the Report Advert menu at the left of the page.
    10. To remove your advert please use the Remove / Edit menu at the left of the page. You will need the advert number, this is below the title on the advert.
    11. Made a mistake or want to change your advert please use the Remove / Edit menu at the left of the page. You will need the advert number, this is below the title on the advert.
    12. If you do not want your email showing then you must tick the check box and include a phone number or a web URL otherwise it will show the email.
    13. All emails are edited to change the @ to to hinder the harvesters and not the users, so please change this back when you try to email somebody.
    14. Please include as much information as possible in the description. Asking for people to email for them will get your advert removed.
    15. Please include a price(s) for your item(s). Asking for people to email or make offers for them will get your advert removed. Exception is if the offer is going to be donated.
    16. Only numbers can be entered in the price, you can put in 0 and the advert will show free or can be -1 to show MULTIPLE if you want to put the prices in the description.
    17. Please put prices in listing in £, if your keyboard doesn't have the £ symbol then copy this one.
    18. You may add four pictures to the advert. All pictures must be resized to a maximum of 1920 pixels wide and 1080 pixels high, the file must be less than 10MB in size and in GIF, JPG, JPEG or PNG format.
    19. Please do not state email for photos without uploading any, as we will just delete the advert to stop scammers harvesting email addresses. If you have more than 4 photos then you can advertise that you have more and upload the best 4.
    20. Please don't try to use tabs to make it look nice in the text box as these are replaced by a single space.
    21. PLEASE DON'T POST IN ALL CAPS LIKE THIS IT WILL JUST BE DELETED.
    22. You can use capital letters on words that use them, i.e. Myford ML7.
    23. Do not put Wanted or For Sale in the title box. A quick title of what you are selling is all that's needed I.E. 'Lathe, Miller and Shaper' the words For Sale or Wanted will be added by the system for you.
    24. Information adverts go on the forum now. It's free to register and you'll get far more people willing to answer.
