Use correct sentience formatting rules, a space after the colon: semi-colon; comma, full stop. and exclamation! characters. URL address will use words with dots between the words without spaces and if the system sees these it will treat them as URL links. So please use the preview, it allows you access to the edit button, to change the mistakes otherwise the adverts will just be removed.
NEW! logo after 10 years the tread board needed repainting, if any remember the old Green text logo might remember how the tread patten ended up becoming the background. The photos have also been upgraded to add logo's and date/time stamps to the images on upload so that the photos are noticeable for people linking to them.

Details: Meddings Drill True bench drill in excellent condition. A little used machine from a research workshop, when I bought it had been standing unused for many years. Has been stripped, repainted, drill marks in table plugged with shrunk in plugs and flatted off as to be almost unnoticeable. New sealed bearings fitted and new (very expensive!) quill return spring. Everything works properly and smoothly. I made a new depth stop as the original (included) was absolutely hopeless and fiddly, this works well and positively. Downsizing so no room in new workshop. Collection only from Sandgate near Folkestone.

Tools & Parts (Small tooling) Excellent State (Well maintained)
Details: Optical Machine Tools universal tool head, This is a very useful boring and facing head, full details and dimensions are available on the Lathes website under OMT on page 2. This is not an automatic feed facing head but usefully the cutter can be advanced while the machine is running, in conventional boring the spindle does not have to be stopped to advance the cut, and by rotating the knurled ring or using the key facing and internal recessing can be carried out. I have found this to be incredibly versatile, for sale as I managed to find a smaller No 0 version more suited to the smaller machines I now have. Quite a lump but have used it ok on my Myford VMF. Has a 7/8 plain shank and comes with R8 collet and 40 int adaptor, and the original key for advancing the cutter, using this gives a very smooth feed for facing. All in excellent condition, with a non original but useful box. Post is RM tracked 24 with signature at cost (weight 6.2 kg) Happy to pack for your own courier to collect, and collection welcome. First item in the great downsizing sale!

Details: Two items: - a Hardinge vertical slide, of the type that clamps to a 44mm bar - not sure exactly what this fits. I had bought it to adapt to my lathe as a milling slide, but hadn't got further than stripping it down when the correct slide appeared. All parts present and correct, just the bar clamp bolts are missing. *Very* solid and heavy, in good condition and comes with two clamp-on fixturing beds, the collar is graduated in decimal inches. £75 - a Lorch (pretty sure, it came with my AVI-RG) mechanical oil/coolant pump - turns (just about) but clearly needs a full overhaul - FREE Both items best collected from Walton-on-Thames - the slide in particular is very heavy, but I'm happy to get a postage/courier quote.
