Use correct sentience formatting rules, a space after the colon: semi-colon; comma, full stop. and exclamation! characters. URL address will use words with dots between the words without spaces and if the system sees these it will treat them as URL links. So please use the preview, it allows you access to the edit button, to change the mistakes otherwise the adverts will just be removed.
NEW! logo after 10 years the tread board needed repainting, if any remember the old Green text logo might remember how the tread patten ended up becoming the background. The photos have also been upgraded to add logo's and date/time stamps to the images on upload so that the photos are noticeable for people linking to them.

Details: I have an ex-rental 'city-bike' which is very robust and does for emergencies. However it is very difficult and dangerous to ride due to bent front forks making it wildly unstable. I need to dismantle, but I can't find suitable anti-tamper tools. Does anyone know the name of these fixings (or even better where to get a driver). Thanks Gary
Details: hi, firstly it is great to see the home workshop up and running again as I missed my daily fix. I now have a nice UPA 4 boring and facing head - but nothing else so I would like to find a box and the various accessories. I think these include - steady rod for facing - rod to engage facing feed - feed stop and tee-bolt - 7/8 boring bars and holders - hex tee wrench for feed return/fine feed - boring bar collets My manual says it weighs 9lb so I must be getting weak as I need two hands just to pick it up! Looking at the size I also need to fix the backgear on the Elliot Milmor 10 if anyone has a spare plastic ring gear [could this be the same as used in the Meddings drill?]. Details: This is a 'new old stock' 240 V motor, rated at 2.2 kW/3 hp - the most powerful motor that you can run from a 13 A plug - running at 1440 rpm. Frame size is '100L' - which means it has a 100 mm shaft height (28 mm diameter and 60 mm long) and a 140 x 160 spacing of the holes on the mounting base. Overall length is about 390 mm and weight 28 kg. It came bundled with a lathe I bought recently at auction - but it's far too large for the lathe (a 95 mm centre height Carstens, if you're interested) and so is surplus to requirements. There were all sorts of other items in the bundle - so watch out for further ads over the coming weeks as I sort through the various boxes! As far as I can tell, its never been used - the 'blanking plug' over the cable entry in the connection unit is still in place, there's no cracking of the paint around the mounting holes etc. but there are a few scuff marks on the exterior paint from storage and transport. I've plugged it in - and it runs sweetly. The instructions under the connection cover show how to wire it to run in either direction or, with a little ingenuity (and electrical knowledge) an external reversing switch could be used. As it's big, heavy and very difficult to pack, it's 'collection only' - from Nawton, North Yorks (about 25 miles North of York).

Single phase so works off a 13 amp socket. Heavy duty locking castors fitted so can trundle around the workshop to be stored out of the way when not being used. Adjustable free standing roller support for long material, spare blades. Heavy so need to collect or I could deliver op to 100 miles for fuel
